I'm a senior software engineer with almost 20 years of professional industry experience in programming and devops, having worked with a variety of programming languages like Javascript, Typescript, Python, Java, Clojure, C# and more. I've helped mentor numerous co-workers over the years. I have been teaching coding bootcamps in the evenings for more than two years. These groups have ranged from participants, covering various topics and languages like Git, GitHub, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Java, React, HTML, CSS, SQL, AWS, data structures, algorithms and more.

I am extremely patient and invested in my students progress and learning. My lessons are relaxed, friendly and catered toward individual students' needs. I want you to feel comfortable asking any questions that come to mind. There's no such thing as a silly question!

As for lesson structure, the choice is yours. This can be a guided approach where I steer you on the path that I feel will have the most positive impact on your future career path. Alternatively, we can explore specific areas of interest that you feel you want to learn more about, whether that's language specifics, databases, systems design, cloud computing or something else.
