What my lessons are like

• Interactive and engaging – I use visual tools such as flashcards, colours, highlighters, and mind maps to make learning fun, memorable, and easy to follow. These methods help children connect ideas and stay focused throughout the lesson.

• Structured yet flexible – Each lesson is carefully organised but adapted to the student’s individual needs, whether focusing on vocabulary, grammar, reading, or conversational skills. I like to mix activities so learning never feels repetitive.

• Dynamic methods – I combine explanations, practice tasks, discussions, and review games to create variety and maintain motivation. Students are encouraged to take an active role in their learning by participating in quizzes and extra tasks outside tutoring hours.

• Supportive environment – I focus on building confidence by celebrating progress, encouraging curiosity, and creating a safe space where mistakes are seen as part of learning. There is no wrong answer here!

• Experience – I have supported adults with translations and English courses, as well as helped younger learners such as my friends’ siblings. These experiences showed me how rewarding it is to guide someone’s progress, and they sparked my interest in teaching.

• Passion for growth – Having been a strong student myself, I know the value of patience, encouragement, and consistency. I am committed to bringing this energy into every lesson, helping students not only improve their English but also enjoy the process of learning.
