My name is Andrea, I am currently a Politics and Economics student at the University of Nottingham with several years of tutoring experience and personal academic achievements that enables me to support students of different ages and abilities. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs and academic goals. Whether a student needs help building confidence, preparing for exams, or strengthening their understanding of key topics, I create a supportive and engaging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. My lessons are well structured, interactive, and focused on achieving measurable progress. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and use plenty of examples and practice questions to reinforce understanding. I also encourage students to think critically rather than simply memorising answers, helping them develop skills they can use independently. I have experience working one-to-one with students in both mainstream and alternative education settings, including supporting learners with a range of abilities and additional learning needs, including autism and ADHD. I pride myself on being patient, organised, and approachable while maintaining high expectations to help every student reach their full potential. My aim is not only to improve grades and academic presence but also to build confidence in students and help them believe they can do anything that they put their minds to, be disciplined in their work , and develop a genuine understanding of the subject. I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and enjoy learning along the way.
