I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience in KS1 and KS2. I have previously worked as a writer and editor and now specialise in English language and literature. I teach online from year 1 to GCSE and have started a summer intensive programme for July and August 2025. All lessons are interactive and fun - I use quizzes, videos and curriculum-based materials from the various exam boards. GCSE students will develop deep knowledge, understanding and even love of language and literature as well as how to investigate and interpret seemingly opaque texts. We go through creative and transactional writing, structured responses plus grammar and punctuation and in-depth review of texts and themes. I plus 11+ student will learn tips and techniques to fly high in verbal reasoning, and master vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and writing as required by their test centre.
