My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. With experience working in both primary and secondary schools in the UK, I understand that every learner has a unique learning style, pace, and set of goals. I create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their abilities.
Lessons are typically structured around clear learning objectives and combine explanation, discussion, practical activities, and regular feedback to ensure steady progress. I use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, interactive exercises, problem-solving tasks, and real-world examples to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. For younger learners, I focus on building strong foundational skills while keeping lessons engaging and interactive. For secondary school students, I provide more in-depth subject support, exam preparation, critical thinking activities, and study strategies.
My background as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor has given me extensive experience supporting students of different ages, abilities, and educational needs. In addition, I have coached architecture students on projects and research work, helping them develop analytical and creative thinking skills. I believe that learning should be both effective and enjoyable, and I work hard to adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's strengths and areas for development.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to build their confidence, independence, and motivation, enabling them to become successful lifelong learners.
