I like using interactive teaching techniques as I strongly believe learning is made easier while visualising and engaging in different activities throughout the lesson. Lessons will also consist of in-groups/in-pairs exercises such as testing each other on spelling and pronunciation, as well as being asked to initiate easy conversation between students. Students will be given homework from lesson to lesson which will consist of reading, practicing pronunciation and spelling, completing tasks and also participating in creative writing contests in order to develop their vocabulary and writing skills.
Every student will be allocated a 1:1 session, starting from the end of the first week, in order to catch up and be given the time to address any concerns regarding the course, as well as provide me with the relevant feedback. I strive to make every lessons as interactive and as fun as I can in order to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for my students. Due to my previous experience in tutoring foreign students, as I myself am an international student, I am very calm and content and I adapt easily to change. I am a very friendly person and I enjoy tutoring all age groups.
