My online lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, learning style, and goals, whether that is improving confidence, closing knowledge gaps, or preparing for school assessments. This allows me to plan lessons that are clear, focused, and achievable.

Each session typically follows a consistent format. We start with a short recap or warm-up to reinforce prior learning, followed by guided teaching of new concepts using clear explanations and examples. I then support students through practice questions, encouraging them to think independently while offering guidance when needed. Lessons finish with a summary of key points and, where appropriate, suggestions for independent practice.

My experience as a Kumon Assistant has equipped me with strong skills in identifying learning gaps, analysing mistakes, and providing constructive, encouraging feedback. I am patient and adaptable, ensuring students never feel rushed or pressured. I place strong emphasis on building confidence and helping students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

Lessons are interactive and engaging, using discussion, problem-solving, and step-by-step approaches to keep students involved. I aim to create a calm, positive environment where students feel supported and motivated. With safeguarding training, a DBS certificate, and experience working with children aged 4–17, parents can feel confident their child is learning in a safe, professional setting.
