My photography lessons are designed to be creative, encouraging, and adaptable to each student’s goals, whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or looking to develop a more personal or experimental approach. I offer online sessions from London, and my teaching draws on a wide background in fine art, science, and education. I hold a BA in Fine Arts with a minor in Astrophysics, and I’m currently completing my MFA at the University of the Arts London.
In lessons, we’ll typically begin with a short discussion to identify what you’re interested in - technical skills, developing a project, editing, or just playing with new ways of seeing. I teach both digital and film photography, as well as alternative processes like camera-less photography using plants and homemade developers. Depending on your needs, lessons can include short tutorials, feedback on your work, guided assignments, and looking at inspiring examples together. My goal is to help you feel confident with your tools and inspired by your own ideas.
I previously worked as an education intern at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, where I developed and led engaging lessons for teenagers across topics including engineering, aviation, and art. That experience helped shape my student-centered teaching style: I believe the best learning happens when you feel supported, heard, and excited about what you’re creating.
No pressure, no judgment. Just a space to experiment, improve, and grow your unique photographic voice.
