My mathematics lessons are designed to be clear, interactive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each learner. I believe that every student can succeed in math with the right guidance, so my approach combines step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, and plenty of practice to build both skills and confidence.
Each lesson begins with a short review of previous topics to reinforce learning, followed by a structured introduction to new concepts. I use visual aids, diagrams, and interactive tools to make abstract ideas more concrete. Students work through examples with me before practicing independently, allowing me to monitor progress and provide immediate feedback.
I integrate educational technology such as Kahoot, Quizizz, Wordwall, and interactive whiteboards to keep lessons engaging and encourage active participation. For exam-focused students, I incorporate past papers, timed exercises, and targeted strategies to prepare for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and NAFS assessments.
With over four years of teaching experience in international schools, I have worked with students following both the British and American curricula, from Grades 5 to 9. I have successfully guided students of varying abilities, helping them overcome learning gaps, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve higher grades.
My lessons are not just about learning formulas — they are about fostering a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and showing students how these skills apply in everyday life. I aim to make mathematics an enjoyable, confidence-building experience where students feel supported, motivated, and capable of achieving their full potential.
