With a PhD in theoretical Physics and over 17 years' experience as a lecturer and researcher in leading universities in the UK, Europe and India, I have mentored and trained students through a unique combination of confidence-bolstering teaching, followed by technical education. Often gifted students suffer from an exam-complex that can be easily overcome through carefully planned and individualised learning setups. My specialty lies in ensuring that students make the most of their gifts and enjoy through achievements.
In the technical remit, I combine digital blackboard with tablet/ipad, synergising conventional teaching with online repository-guided learning experience that allows students to practice and curate their developments. Since both Mathematics and Physics can be technically intense subjects, often there is a taboo that comes from the ambience. I consider this as the first critical obstacle to overcome and surpass. I ensure this by starting from the level that the student is most comfortable at, irrespective of the degree that they are taking the lesson for. Once a student understands that they can "do it", there is no bound to their individual attainments. Mathematics and Physics are fun subjects, and I ensure that my students enjoy first and learn next.
Each one-hour class starts with a 5-10 minutes recap, followed by a session of blended learning spanning ca 35-40 minutes, typically ending with a Quiz summarising the content and looking into the next class. Students also benefit from periodic mock exams with tailored solutions provided for. For individual students, I mark each answer and discuss their response against the benchmark. Individualised and assorted, I follow a graded mechanism eventually targeting exam level solutions within exam settings and conditions as a final preparation for their target examinations.
I have personally delivered over 2000 hours of online lessons and training.
