Hi! I’m a physics tutor with a First-Class Master's in Physics and a strong background in STEM education. I’ve spent several years designing and developing learning resources and assessments, so I understand not just the subject itself, but also how students learn best and how to succeed in exams.

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to you. I know physics can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear steps. I use lots of examples, diagrams, and real-world links to help concepts click, and I always encourage questions—there’s no such thing as a “silly” question in my sessions.

At the start, I’ll get a sense of what you’re finding difficult and what your goals are (whether that’s improving confidence, boosting grades, or preparing for exams). From there, I structure lessons to build your understanding step by step. We’ll work through problems together, practise exam-style questions, and focus on the skills you need to apply your knowledge confidently.

I place a strong emphasis on problem-solving and exam technique, as these are often the biggest challenges for students. I’ll show you how to approach different question types, avoid common mistakes, and structure your answers to pick up as many marks as possible.

Because of my experience in education and assessment design, I can also provide clear, targeted feedback and help you develop effective revision strategies. If needed, I can support with planning revision, consolidating tricky topics, or building a stronger foundation in maths for physics.

Most importantly, I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable learning at your own pace. My goal is to help you not only improve your grades, but also feel more confident and capable in physics.
