I primarily teach dental school admissions and interview preparation, offering realistic 1-1, university-specific mock interviews. In addition to this, I also tutor GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry. For dentistry interview sessions, I focus on building students’ confidence and communication skills, helping them deliver clear, structured, and interview-ready answers. I work closely with each student to identify areas for improvement while also tailoring sessions to their individual goals and requests. Topics commonly covered include reflecting effectively on work experience, discussing personal qualities, data interpretation, role-play scenarios, and logical reasoning questions.
Throughout the process, I provide detailed, constructive feedback alongside practical strategies to help students refine their responses and improve their overall interview technique. Having gone through the dental school application process myself, I understand how challenging it can be to perfect answers under interview conditions, which is why I place strong emphasis on making sure students feel fully prepared and confident on the day.
