I believe that learning should feel clear and structured, not overwhelming. I like to break down difficult topics into smaller simpler steps, use real life examples and check understanding regularly. I’m patient, encouraging and always adapt my explanations to suit the students pace and learning style.
My goal is to make every student to feel confident in themselves. Many young people struggle with stress and self doubt. And I aim to create a safe learning space where they can ask questions freely, feel supported, and steadily grow in knowledge and confidence. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing a student walk into their exams calmer, more assured, and ready to show what they’ve learned.
How I run my lessons
-We begin with a quick recap of the previous lesson
-I introduce new concepts step by step, using examples and guided practice
-Student will try exam-styled questions with support
-End with a short summary and clear plan on what to work on next
-I also provide parents with weekly feedback so they know how their child is progressing
I achieved strong GCSEs and A-Levels and I am especially confident in teaching Maths (AQA/Edexcel), Biology (AQA) and Chemistry (AQA) up to GCSE level. To make sure my teaching is accurate and effective, I regularly review GCSE and KS3 content, exam specifications and past papers.
Experience
Over the past two years, I have helped many students make real progress and grow in confidence. I carefully tailor each lesson to their individual needs, whether that means supporting them with areas like forgetfulness, building stronger foundations, or reinforcing key topics. By adapting my teaching style to match their learning style, I have seen students become more engaged, motivated, and independent in their studies which has consistently resulted in improved performance and greater self belief.
I aim to build confidence, exam technique, and independent learning skills. Parents often describe me as reliable, transparent, and genuinely invested in their child’s progress.
