My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's improving confidence in a subject, catching up on difficult topics, or aiming for top grades in exams. I begin by identifying a student's strengths and areas for improvement, then create a personalised plan to help them progress at a comfortable but challenging pace.

For IB, A-Level, and GCSE students, I can cover the full syllabus in my subjects, including all Higher Level content for IB Mathematics AA, Physics, and Business Management. Lessons can focus on learning new material, reinforcing concepts taught in school, tackling challenging exam-style questions, or revising for upcoming assessments. I also provide support with homework, internal assessments where appropriate, and effective exam techniques.

My teaching philosophy is that understanding the "why" behind a concept is just as important as knowing how to solve a problem. Rather than relying on memorisation, I break down complex ideas into manageable steps and encourage students to think critically and develop their own problem-solving skills.

A typical lesson combines explanation, worked examples, and guided practice, with plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions. As students become more confident, we gradually move towards independent problem solving and past paper practice to build both competence and exam confidence.

As a current Aerospace Engineering student and recent IB graduate, I have first-hand experience with the challenges of these courses and understand the strategies needed to succeed. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent academic results but also to help them enjoy learning and gain the confidence to tackle difficult problems independently.
