I’m currently a teacher with around 4+ years of experience teaching Science to students aged 12 to aged 18. My experience in mentoring students and modernizing curriculum makes me an excellent candidate to support your school’s mission of fostering individual growth and curiosity through an exploratory curriculum and I am confident I will excel to be a tutor as I also have more than 6+ years running my own tuition business.

I am keen to translate my experience from my current school which has just become ‘Outstanding’ in 2023 to another and help to deliver an efficient curriculum. I look to forward to bring my schools mission ‘To ensure that every pupil leaves our school confident, articulate, culturally aware; able to pursue careers they are passionate about, contribute to society and live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives’ to my tutees.

My strong initiative and ability to cater to a diverse range of learners allow me to thrive in a challenging teaching environment. Specifically, some of my greatest professional successes include:

• Increasing reading levels by an average of 2 grade levels through engaging multiple modalities, creating fun reading challenges, and encouraging student-led reading
• Increasing students’ grade by 1+ every year
• Ensuring my students/tutees gain a love for Science and thrive in all 3 sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)
• Encouraging my students to be dreamers and lifelong learners with a personalized approach to teaching that instils confidence in their abilities and potential.
