I have worked with students in the past and I love to start by getting to know you - the best ways that you understand and revise different subjects. It’s super important to find what works best for you - not everyone is the same! I also like to build a bond with my students to a certain extent - I need you to be comfortable around me to make mistakes. Trust me, you will but that’s okay!
After I gauge your ability, it can work two ways - you tell me what you want to work on and how I can help you, or I can design an overall revision plan to get your the top grades.
This may include one session of simply going over a certain skill, practising and perfecting that, or doing exam questions to really prepare you for what’s to come (I know it’s a shame - but it really is the best way to prepare!)
Regular exam-style exercises and assessments really helped me throughout my exams and made the real thing so much less daunting - I was more scared for mocks than for the real thing!

It’s important to note it’s not all about the grades! Simply understanding a certain subject can have so many benefits - linking to other subjects and real life situations.
I firmly believe that whilst education may seem ‘pointless’ in real life, the skills that it teaches you stays with you forever.
I am passionate about getting you the best outcome possible - I specialise in STEM subjects, geography, textiles and history but I can assist in others such as English and Spanish.
