I used to find school really difficult, I couldn't grasp the lesson ideas because I wasn't learning from the way the lesson was being taught. I am aware that every student has a different method of learning and that's why every initial session will start with a conversation about what the aim of these lessons are, how you as a student can get the most out of them and what teaching style best suits you. This may be visual summaries, brief explanations with examples or exam style questions. Every student's personal style and desires will be adhered to and met during these sessions by focusing on them as an individual.
