I’m a qualified English tutor with over four years of teaching experience, specialising in English Language and Literature for students aged 11 up to GCSE level. With a strong understanding of the AQA curriculum, I help students build confidence, master key skills, and achieve meaningful progress—whether they’re catching up, keeping up, or striving for top grades.

What truly drives my teaching is a deep love and passion for English. I believe that language and literature have the power to open minds, spark creativity, and build essential life skills. I bring this enthusiasm into every lesson, creating an engaging and supportive environment where students feel inspired to learn and confident to express themselves.

My approach is calm, structured, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. I take time to understand how they learn best, breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. Whether it’s preparing for exams, strengthening reading and writing skills, or developing analytical thinking, I’m committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

I hold a PGCE with QTS in Secondary Education and a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature. More than just qualifications, I bring energy, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping students thrive—in the classroom, in exams, and beyond.
