Hello, my name is Mr. Singh and I am an experienced GCSE Science tutor with over 11 years of tutoring experience and more than 5,000 hours of teaching delivered across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science and Triple Science.

I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences and later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Throughout my career, I have supported students of all abilities, from those looking to build confidence and secure a pass grade to those aiming for Grades 8 and 9.

I have extensive experience teaching across AQA, Edexcel, Pearson Edexcel IGCSE and OCR specifications, allowing me to tailor lessons to the precise requirements of each student's course and examination board.

My lessons are structured, engaging and focused on measurable progress. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding and then create a personalised learning plan designed around the student's individual needs, strengths and areas for development. Lessons typically combine clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions and past paper practice to ensure students develop both strong subject knowledge and effective exam technique.

I place a strong emphasis on building confidence and helping students develop independent learning skills. Many students initially come to me feeling overwhelmed by Science, but through consistent support and a structured approach they quickly begin to improve both their understanding and confidence.

Over the years, I have built strong relationships with students and parents alike, with many students choosing to continue lessons for several years. I pride myself on being approachable, patient and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.
