Amar Kumar

I am a qualified Mathematics educator with a strong academic background in both Mathematics and teaching methodology. I have completed my M.Tech in Industrial Mathematics and Scientific Computing from IIT Madras, an M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing from NIT Hamirpur, and a B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics. I have also completed a B.Ed in Science, which has equipped me with a strong understanding of effective teaching methods, lesson planning, student psychology, and classroom learning.

In addition, I have qualified CTET and STET Mathematics Paper I and Paper II, demonstrating my knowledge of mathematics teaching and educational standards. My academic achievements also include qualifying for GATE Mathematics, securing AIR 231 in GATE Mathematics 2024, and qualifying for NET-JRF in Mathematics in June 2025 with AIR 173.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong conceptual foundation rather than encouraging rote memorization. I explain mathematical concepts step by step and adapt my teaching style to the student's current level, learning pace, and academic goals. I use examples, visualization, intuitive explanations, and extensive problem-solving to make difficult topics easier to understand.
