Prof.Amany Ibrahim

I am a Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty's peer reviewed Journal, and a member of "The Promotion Research Arbitration at the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities".
I read, with interest, the post for the job of " Innovative Primary Teacher - Arabic Culture Lead", at "the School of Big Bravery ", which I would enjoy for the following reasons:
• I am passionate about working with children of all ages, and experienced in teaching 3-6 years old.
• I enjoy teaching, and I am passionate for helping others help themselves.
• I am certified, and experienced in teaching English as a second language to both children, and adults.
• My M.A, and PhD. were concerned about Quranic& Hadith sciences.
• I have thirty-six years of experience in advising, mentoring, tutoring and language development at different Arab universities, (in both Arabic &English languages)
• I enjoy writing; that's why I am a published author(in both Arabic &English languages)of more than fifteen books (9 of them are about raising Muslim children to be concerned about Islamic culture ) , twenty nine peer reviewed articles; beside being a chief editor of four academic blogs, an academic Facebook page, and a site. Furthermore, I have been the chief editor of the Academic journal of Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, since October 2018 , until present.
• I strive for excellence and leadership, that is why I am qualified and experienced in developing innovation skills, and still studying about Innovation.
• I am experienced in providing academic services to the university community; as I have been the president of Cultural Affairs Committee, at LIS department ,at Faculty of Arts- Alexandria University for more than 20 years, and was the head of Students' Activities Committee at Taybah University, in Saudi Arabia. I also have been giving public lectures and workshops at my university ,and other institutions ;and also Established “the library of creativity in education and learning”, at Library & Information Science Department- University of Alexandria’s departmental library, in October 2009 to help both students ,and faculty develop their skills; I also organized two conferences on creativity & innovation at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in 2017,and 2018.Furthermore, I shared in many community scientific projects from ;besides Preparing a case study, and a development plan for the libraries of Faculty of Engineering-Alexandria University ,in February 2009.
• Depending on the fact that "true education , as Albert Einstein said , is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think"; It has been my pleasure to teach innovation skills and techniques to faculty, students and clerks(in both Arabic and English), in addition to providing them with experience in transforming their creative ideas into innovations, which helps them develop their mental and practical skills, and provides them with wider and more diversified opportunities to study, work and improve the standard of their lives and societies.
• I am certified, and experienced to train students on creative problem-solving skills, which give them independence in solving daily problems, and help them to make good decisions.
• I am certified, and experienced to train students on developing their Information Literacy Skills, according to The Big6 method.
• My favorite teaching method is active learning, which allows students to carry out meaningful learning activities, while thinking about what they are doing, as well as collaborating with classmates.
• To add more value, all my courses are Based on Bloom's taxonomy for developing higher-order thinking skills, which leads to broadening their horizons, deepening their insights, refining their reactions, and stimulating their thoughts.
• Fortunately, I am certified, and experienced in teaching these subjects, and more;
Therefore, I believe that I would be suitable for this job
