- Scored grade 9 in GCSE Maths, grade 8 in GCSE Further Maths and an A star in A level Maths

About the lessons
- Lessons are for Y10 and Y11 students studying GCSE Maths - Lessons will be 1 hr long, online only - Before each lesson, I’ll ask which topic you want to cover. Then I’ll share the relevant exam questions with you online. You’ll do the questions, and when you’re done we’ll both mark through it. Any questions that you struggle with, you can tell me any time during the lesson and I’ll give a hint or teach the concept for the question. - I will immediately listen if you need any help, and I also expect you to ask any questions as soon as possible if you’re struggling with anything. I understand as a previous GCSE student that there are many subjects and extracurriculars you will be working on, so I’ll be as efficient and direct with my teaching as possible, such as by only focussing on topics that you struggle with

About me
- I am a secondary school student too, so I can relate to the demands of handling many subjects at the same time, as well as participating in extracurricular activities. In this way I am someone who is very energy efficient and work efficient, so that I will respect your time.
- I want to teach you because I want you to reach your goals in mathematics (whether it’s to just pass your GCSE maths or score a grade 9) so that you can do what you want to do for your next step (A levels, apprenticeships or anything else). However, I have chosen to teach maths because I genuinely know that I can help you achieve your goal in GCSE maths, because I love maths and I am very competent at maths too, as my grade 9 in GCSE and A star in A level maths show.
- I want my lessons to be affordable for you, as GCSE maths should be a qualification that everyone can at least pass, if not excel in - mathematics is a very important subject for basic societal skills as well as higher skills, like problem solving. Hence at a basic level, GCSE maths should be surmountable for all.
