Allegra Mutanda

I worked in a secondary school as a Lay Chaplain and in that role, developed a very good understanding of young people and some of the struggles they face and how this can affect their education.

Alongside this, I hold a degree in Business Information Technology and a PGCE. I taught ICT at KS3 and KS4. I am also used to training and forming people, always ensuring that my material is adapted to my audience. This means that I am able to deliver academic training that would be suited to my audience.

I studied English as a Foreign Language when I first came to England, not speaking a word of English. The following year, I started a degree at university. I was very much marked by teh quality of my formation and to this day, remember those teachers who were so invaluable to my learning. So, I understand, first-hand, qualms and anxieties around learning or growing knowledge in a new language. My hope is that your learning will give you confidence to achieve your dreams and propel you into the next season of your life.
