Aliza Qureshi

I am an experienced Head of English and GCSE examiner with almost 20 years’ experience. I teach KS3–KS5, EFL and ESOL learners, and support university students with academic writing. I teach effectively by adapting lessons to individual needs, modelling skills clearly, building confidence through purposeful practice

For GCSE and A Level students, I combine subject knowledge with exam technique, helping students understand assessment criteria, develop analytical writing and produce stronger responses. For EFL learners, I focus on practical communication, fluency, grammar, vocabulary and confidence. I also support university students with academic writing, structure, critical thinking and clarity.
