If chosen to be your child’s tutor, I’d structure each lesson in a similar way. This is done by starting the lesson, discussing the homework set that week and what areas the child struggled in! If there are areas they’ve struggled with, this makes it better for me, the child and even you as a parent to pinpoint their issues and target them so they can improve and do the best they possibly can! Once the homework has been reflected upon, I’d start a new topic/or continue with the one that’s already commenced and explain themes,context, genre etc. last but not least I’d assign them to complete a mini exam question just to see if they understood the lesson!
