My lessons are straightforward and practical. I start by finding out what you already know and what you want to achieve, then set a clear goal for each session. We usually begin with a quick recap, then I explain new concepts step by step and work through examples together. I focus on methods that make problems easier to approach rather than memorising procedures.
I encourage active participation: you’ll try problems during the session, explain your thinking, and we’ll go over mistakes calmly to see what went wrong. I use simple diagrams, worked examples, and short practice tasks to reinforce learning. Between sessions I give targeted practice to build confidence and track progress.
I’m a uni student, so I understand balancing study with other commitments and I keep sessions flexible around your schedule. I’ve tutored GCSE Maths and mentored younger students, and I’ve worked in environments where clear communication and patience matter. That experience helps me explain ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
Sessions are paced to suit you: if you need a structured walkthrough we’ll stick to that; if you prefer exploring ideas more openly we can do that instead. I aim to be reliable and prepared, with clear summaries at the end of each lesson and a plan for what to work on next. My goal is steady improvement: clearer understanding, better problem-solving, and more confidence in the subject. If you prefer online or in-person sessions, I can accommodate both and provide resources accordingly as needed flexibly.
