Lessons will be tailored to your specific requirements. I will endeavour to feature your interests within lessons so you feel excited and keen to learn. I will share your progress with you and involve you in the next steps, so it is clear to you what your targets are and how we will work together to meet them. The learning will be explained to you as to how you can use it in real-life, which I believe will deepen your understanding and willingness to know more. Sometimes we will work together on mental strategies, other times it will be written or digital. I will suggest games that you can enjoy in between lessons, should you wish to practice. We will have fun and celebrate your success along the way and fill any learning gaps that bother you. There will be a strategy that will work to suit your individual learning style and we will explore different styles until we find it! My motto is 'NEVER GIVE UP!' If something is not working, we can be flexible and change - I will be led by you. My style of teaching is nurturing and kind and relationship-based and this is key to you wanting to be tutored and your willingness to learn and grow. We will take a moment at the end of each lesson to reflect on what went well and how we could have done things differently. This way, I can record a brief synopsis for your parents/guardians so they are kept up-to-date.
