I am an LSE University Student, with time to tutor GCSE students who need extra time and practice outside of lessons to aid their studies.

I took ten GCSEs in 2022 and received a 9 in Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, RE and Drama, an 8 in Spanish and two 7s in English.

Together, the student and I can come up with a plan to cover what they struggle with most over the upcoming lessons.

Lessons themselves will begin with starter questions before explaining the core concepts behind the topic. Then I can answer any questions the student may have before going through past or practice paper questions. Finally, I will leave time to reflect at the end of the lesson to see what the student may want to change for next week.

Explaining concepts or providing tips can take the form of a conversation, examples in life or using diagrams. I will also make sure to draw from the correct GCSE exam board the student is taking to ensure that the lessons are in line with the syllabus they are learning in school.

Online textbooks, resources, and past papers which I can access will be sent along to the student upon their request to aid their learning in class and preparation for the exam, in addition to use in tutoring sessions. If you have any questions or wish to request any particular learning styles please do let me know, as I am open to adapting the style of tutoring sessions to meet the student's learning needs.
