Alison Armstrong

In addition to many years of in-person college classroom teaching, I have also tutored undergraduates for the Yeats/Eliot papers in Lincoln College, Oxford and in the writing centers of two art colleges in New York City, the Cooper Union and School of Visual Arts. I also take private students who are writing entrance essays for college acceptance and those revising a thesis for M.A. degrees in humanities. As I am a published author of seven books on a variety of topics, as well as a public speaker, I can offer excellent personal attention to students who wish to improve their persuasive writing skills and learn more about the benefits of reading--drama, fiction, poetry, history, science, and philosophy.
