I am a UCL Electrical & Electronic Engineering offer holder with a strong passion for Mathematics and Physics. Having recently completed my A-Levels, I have first-hand knowledge of the current GCSE and A-Level specification, exam techniques, and the challenges students face. I hold A*AAA predicted grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Economics, giving me a strong foundation in the subjects I teach.
For about a year, I tutored GCSE Mathematics and Physics students through my school's mentoring programme. Both students shared that they felt much more confident in these subjects after our sessions, with one improving by three grades. I also supported my fellow A-Level Mathematics students through weekly revision sessions before our exams, helping to explain difficult topics and work through exam-style questions.
My online lessons are tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by finding out what they already understand before clearing up any misconceptions and explaining new concepts. Most of the lesson is then spent applying this knowledge to exam-style questions, helping students develop the exam technique needed to perform at their best. Homework is set after each lesson to reinforce what we've covered and is reviewed at the start of the next session. I’d encourage students to send it to me before the next lesson so I can provide feedback, clarify any mistakes, and answer any questions when we review it together.
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing their understanding of Mathematics and Physics to help them achieve their goals.
