Alina Singh

My name is Alina.
I teach Russian to children (ages 5 and up) and adults of all levels.
About me: I have a university degree, 10+ years of project management experience, and have been teaching at Buratino Sunday School (Southampton) since 2024. I am responsible, patient, and passionate about my work.
My lessons are built on four foundations:
* reading,
* writing,
* speaking,
* listening.
I use a lot of visualization.
For children, I use fairy tales, games, copybooks, and cartoons.
For adults, I use conversation practice, grammar, videos, and materials tailored to your goals (work, travel, communication).
Who are my lessons for:
• For those whose native Russian language is slipping (those living abroad)
• For partners whose significant other speaks Russian
• For those planning a move, work, or travel to Russia/CIS
• For anyone who simply loves the Russian language and culture
I select materials based on your goals and level. This could be conversational practice, reading literature, or learning business Russian. I create a comfortable environment where mistakes are not a concern.
