My online lessons will consist of an initial assessment in an informal manner (flash cards/conversation/simple questions). Once a starting point has been identified, lessons will be weekly and flexible (not set to one time slot). During these sessions, I will carry out a simple three part lesson involving a recap of learning, coverage of new content, before finishing with problem solving in order to challenge learners at a regular yet comfortable level. In order to get the most from these sessions, they will last approximately an hour and will be jam-packed with opportunities for questioning and reasoning - key to amazing success!

This is a format which I have had extensive experience in using with a variety of children, and I have seen great progress from such an approach. It is something I have both used and observed within classrooms and intervention sessions.

As a result of being a full-time student, the number of students I am able to take on at one time may vary throughout the year, however the quality of teaching shall not differ. I aim to give the highest of quality possible when teaching and I am confident that I will be able to do so.

As well as this, lessons will be arranged on a weekly basis. This is something I believe to be a key part in academic success! Learning one-to-one once a week will allow for children to not become burnt out or overwhelmed when paired with school commitments. This is something I feel to be vital when aiming for sufficient progress!
