I have a whole life time of experience speaking English, and I will be happy to teach it to others so that they can fully appreciate it like I do! I have studied English at GCSE and A-Level and also done a degree at university. This was Film and Media Production, but still involved lots of essay writing and communication skills.

I would like to start the lesson with a basic catch up and a warm up exercise, then get into a more in depth conversation. This can be about anything the student wishes, but I will alternate this between a topic I pick too, to keep them motivated and interested. I will sometimes carry out quizzes or tests to see how far the student has come and what needs to be worked on. Then the lessons can be altered to focus on what needs to be improved. I also think it is important to gauge what the student is interested in and establish a relationship with them to make them feel more comfortable.
