Alice Mortimer

I have had some experience teaching others before and have found I really enjoy it. For example I took part in a scheme to help the younger years with their reading and frequently sat with individuals to help them. Furthermore, during my a levels I revised by teaching others in my class and found it was an incredibly effective way of learning.
I scored in the top 2% of people after taking an IQ test meaning I have excellent problem solving ability so I can help students find ways of revision that work well for them. This also means I have an excellent memory so although I am no longer doing my a-levels I still have a strong grasp on all of the content that I was taught.
I am kind, empathetic and patient and I understand that a-levels are a particularly challenging period so I will work hard to help with revision in any way that I can.
I can offer all the resources I creating during my own levels - this includes spreadsheets, checklists, power points and quizzes.
I am also a telented writer and frequently scored highly on any long answer questions so I can help when it comes to structuring answers, keeping focus on the questions and making the most out of the time that is given in exams.
