I am an experienced Geography teacher and Sixth Form leader with over eight years of teaching AQA GCSE Geography, alongside extensive experience teaching AQA A Level Geography in both UK and international schools.

I provide students with clear, high-quality case studies, strong core geographical knowledge, and a secure understanding of how to access marks in exams. I explicitly teach students how to interpret command words, meet all assessment objectives, and confidently answer exam questions using clear writing frames and structured approaches.

My lessons focus on helping students understand how to “nail” exam questions, from shorter data and figure-based questions to extended responses. I support students in developing effective revision strategies, using a wide range of resources tailored to different memory recall techniques, ensuring key knowledge is securely learned and transferable under exam conditions.

At A Level, I specialise in the AQA exam structure, including how to approach 20-mark essays, evaluate effectively, and answer figure and resource questions with precision. I also provide dedicated support with the AQA NEA coursework, guiding students through planning, fieldwork write-ups, data presentation, analysis, and meeting the assessment objectives at every stage.

My teaching is calm, structured, and encouraging, with a strong focus on confidence, independence, and consistent progress—helping students turn knowledge into understanding, skills, and exam success.

NEA Coursework Support (AQA A Level Geography)
Specialist support with NEA planning, titles, fieldwork design, data collection, statistical testing, analysis, evaluation, and write-up. I guide students step-by-step to meet assessment objectives and maximise marks, ensuring clarity, independence, and academic rigour throughout.
