My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that is exam preparation, conversational fluency, or building a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, as this is essential for language learning.

I place a strong emphasis on communication, using real-life scenarios and interactive activities to help students use Mandarin in a practical, meaningful way. At the same time, I ensure lessons are well-structured, with clear explanations and progression so students can see their improvement over time.

My teaching style is shaped by strong communication skills, empathy, and active listening. I take time to understand each student’s needs, pace, and learning style, adapting my approach accordingly. I am patient and encouraging, helping to build confidence in speaking and comprehension, while also maintaining a clear sense of direction in each lesson.
