My lessons are structured, engaging, and carefully tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I teach all GCSE science, including Combined and Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), with a strong specialism in Biology.

Each session focuses on building a clear and secure understanding of key concepts first, before applying knowledge through targeted exam-style questions. I use proven teaching methods such as “I do, we do, you do” to guide students from supported learning to independent confidence. Lessons can be adapted to focus on learning new content, revising key topics, or improving exam technique using real GCSE exam questions.

With over 15 years of tutoring and 10 years of classroom teaching experience as a Head of Science, I have a strong understanding of exam board requirements and what students need to do to achieve their target grades.

I am kind but firm in my approach and easy to get along with, creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and challenged to do their best.

My teaching is structured, supportive, and results-driven. I help students build confidence, close knowledge gaps, and develop effective revision and exam strategies, ensuring they make strong and lasting progress whether they are preparing for GCSE exams or strengthening their understanding throughout Years 7–10.
