I have helped multiple students in my year and lower years to understand maths content in a friendly and informative way. At the start of each session there will be a short retrieval exercise based on previous sessions to continuously revisit past knowledge. I start with simple ideas, slowly building on them using scaffolding to ensure maximum understanding. I also use many practice examples relevant to the GCSE specification to guarantee you can effectively answer questions on these topics in the examiner's desired format. You will have independent time to complete exercises and request assistance followed by an answer session where I will remove any potential misconceptions and identify errors to allow progression to the next topic. These errors will be revisited using relevant past paper questions to further provide mastery of the topic.

All sessions will be like a maths lesson and will follow a similar fast pace- this is to give you peace of mind whilst preparing for the final exams. I will always be available for help and consistently go above and beyond using stretch and challenge exercises so students can target higher grades. My experience self-teaching GCSE Further Maths can also help potential private candidates and state pupils who need some extra support. With the exception of GCSE foundation maths, the ultimate aim is to guide students to the higher grades- in particular the coveted 9s! I will do everything in my power to assist students in their quest for high grades while understanding the content on a deeper level. The choice is yours!
