I try to create engaging and fun lessons. Each lesson will have an outline at the beginning, stating the aims of the lesson, and a review at the end to see if those goals are met. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout and think out loud, in a style similar to the Supervisions at Cambridge (known as Tutorials at Oxford). Essentially, the lesson is a informal space to consolidate knowledge and dive deeper.

Presentations will be provided, and notes summary will be available after the session. During the session I will use my ipad so we can easily switch from the presentation to a a notebook where i can draw diagrams and show working out live.

Lessons are aimed at supporting the teaching that happens at school, and this can include going over topics amd/or assignments from that week. That being said, they are ultimately tailored to each individual student's needs, which can mean going back to fill in gaps or doing supracurricular reading (extra reading that isn't examined but can gain extra marks in some circumstances, and also provide a more wholistic approach to learning which can help some students). After the first few sessions, a definite plan will be drawn based on the student's needs, what they plan to do after A-levels, and how much time is available.

As exams approach, we will focus on doing and reviewing past papers and their marking criteria. By the time exams come, you should feel confident answering every type of question.
