Alexia Bormann

As a recent secondary school graduate, I have recent, first-hand experience of GCSEs, helping me to provide focused and useful tuition. At GCSE, I obtained grade 9s in all of my 10 subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, English Language, Computer Science, Geography, German, French) and would love to help you reach the top grades too! I am particularly interested in the field of STEM, and have received an offer (which I plan to take up, grade dependent) to study Physics (4-year MPhys) at the University of Oxford, starting in 2025. Although I have no formal tutoring experience, I often help my sister with her GCSE homework, and help classmates within lessons, for which I have received positive feedback. I have developed strong communication skills through my experience as STEM prefect, after school care volunteer, Brownies volunteer, and vice captain of my netball team. My aim is to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so you can gain both confidence and understanding.
