In my lessons, I start by identifying the student's weak areas and the topics they don't fully understand. I will then focus on these areas as a priority, breaking each topic down step by step and making sure the basics are solid and that the student can then identify when certain formulas or ways of working are required.

The lessons are structured, but flexible. We will work through examples together, then practice exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy. I regularly revise and retest previously covered topics to ensure that the understanding has stuck, not just for now but over time so that in the exam you won't feel panicked.

I've worked one to one with students of different abilities including those who have struggled in school and now are home based. I adjust my approach depending on how the student learns best.

I want all students to feel more confident with Maths, improve their exam technique and make steady progress towards passing or improving their GCSE Maths grade.

I apply structured teaching methods that focus on strong foundations, regular assessment and mastering topics before moving on.
