I am a charismatic and engaging tutor that will always help students through tough problems. I find that challenging students is the way to learn which is achieved by solving problems. In maths and the sciences there is no alternative to this as it develops the critical thinking skills that are required to get the top grades at GCSE and A-Level. I am currently studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge University so have lots of experience with university applications including admissions tests, interviews, and writing a killer personal statement. I hope that students relish the tasks of improving there fluency in the sciences and I hope they will learn to enjoy the subject with my tutelage. I have tutored in maths for 2 years already so have experience with all abilities regularly increasing children's grade by 2 boundaries. I also have experience from the other side of tutoring. In years 12 and 13 I took part in the COMPOS programme, a super-curricular programme which teaches first and some second year university maths and physics to students from state schools. Here I was tutored by Oxford masters students and learned what its like to be tutored.
