I am currently studying maths english and law at A-level. As a current student with recent experience with GCSE exams I know what the main techniques and strategies to achieving excellence in maths.

My aim is to help students struggling in maths to achieve their desired result. I will strategically plan each lesson to the capability of the student, using specific techniques for how that student learns. I will go through the content by only explaining what the key infomation that is needed to be learnt. My lessons will predominatlety be practice question based. I will set homework as this is important for the student to solidify their knowledge, also giving an indicator if more in session practice is needed on the topic.

Depending on the age of the student, finding the students gaps in knowledge is important to achieving understanding in maths and those high grades. The first session will be free of cost as I would like the student to take a short test, that will test on all the skills you need in GCSE maths, helping us to identify the gaps in the students knowledge.
