My lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to meet each student’s individual learning needs. I combine clear explanations with interactive discussions and practical examples to help students understand complex scientific ideas with confidence. Each lesson begins with a quick review of prior knowledge, followed by guided exploration of new topics through problem-solving, demonstrations, and questioning techniques that promote active thinking. I often integrate real-life applications and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and prepare students effectively for assessments.
With over fifteen years of experience teaching Physics, including IGCSE and GCSE levels, I have developed a deep understanding of how students learn science best. Currently undertaking my PGCE in Secondary Physics at Edge Hill University as a Trainee Teacher, I continuously reflect on my practice to ensure that my lessons meet high professional and academic standards.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and encouraging. I believe that every learner can succeed in Physics when the subject is presented clearly and meaningfully. I use visual aids, simulations, and practical examples to make abstract concepts tangible and exciting. I also emphasise building students’ confidence, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Overall, my lessons create a stimulating environment where curiosity is nurtured, understanding deepens, and learners are inspired to enjoy and excel in science.
