Alex Prentice Prentice

Hello, my name is Alex.

I have been a teacher and a tutor for over 5 years now.
I am a fully qualified English teacher and have been tutoring full time since 2016. I specialize in teaching KS3 (11 years old), GCSE and A-Level. I teach a number of qualifications from IGCSE, AQA, Pearsons as well as functional skills. I have also taught EAL in the past working on qualifications such as international English Language Testing System.

I really enjoy tutoring and I fully develop, produce, and implement personalised lessons. Designed around the students’ academic needs as well as interests. In the past I have worked with a variety of pupils with SEND needs including autism, PDA, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ASD, Global Development Delay. I really enjoy seeing students reach their potential and fulfil their goals.

I like my lessons to be immersive, creative, and fully engaging for the student this means using images, video clips, games as well as discussion and debate.

I also offer lessons in KS3-KS4 History, Politics and Geopolitics.
