Hi there! I'm Alex, though most of my close friends call me Chip. I'm here to help you learn English in a manner that is both enjoyable and as stress free as I can make it, as I know that learning a new language can be difficult and daunting. I have worked with people from every ethnicity and racial background possible and I have found that the key to good communication is simply taking a step back and allowing people to make mistakes. We're only human! While working abroad, I have helped foreign colleagues advance their English to the point where they are confident operating in hazardous conditions, with only English as a usable language, due to the overwhelming amount of British and American nationals within our teams. When I teach, I try to emphasize as much as possible that it's alright for you to make errors, as mistakes go hand in hand with learning, generally. Together, we'll speak, read and write until you feel comfortable and confident in your ability to articulate yourself. While it's important to me that you learn and gain further insight with each lesson, I also put heavy emphasis on making lessons enjoyable. What's more fun than being able to utilise your newfound skills than putting them to use? I encourage a reactive and adaptable learning pace and I strive to build an environment in which anyone can learn and excel to new heights. I will cover everything from basic speech and written skills all the way to creative writing, speaking with an advanced vocabulary and most importantly, giving yourself the confidence and state of mind that will allow you to conduct yourself as well, if not better than a native English speaker.
