Alessandro Criscuolo

Hi.
I am a multi-instrumentalist musician and composer with a degree in jazz from the Conservatory of Salerno (Italy), and a Master degree in Jazz and Modern Music in Barcelona (Spain). I play bass, double bass, piano, and drums. I have over 15 years of experience in the music industry and as a teacher. I have toured across Europe and Australia with various bands. I have a deep passion for Black music and have specialized mainly in funk and jazz, which have allowed me to develop a broader understanding of harmony and rhythm.
I also enjoy applying my knowledge to teaching, ensuring that you can learn in a comprehensive way, tailored to your personal goals, while always having fun.

In my methodology I try to cover 3 elements simultaneously, 1- Technique with the instrument, 2- Theory and musical reading, and 3- improvisation or musical exploration at every levels. The main orientation is the student, and his style and taste in relation to the musical journey he prefers and his objectives.
