My lessons are practical, personalised and focused on helping each student achieve their own musical and technical goals. I always start by understanding your current level, musical interests, preferred software and what you would like to improve, whether that is producing your first track, improving your mixes, recording vocals, learning a DAW, or developing a more professional sound.

The format of the lessons is flexible and can be adapted to your needs. We can work step by step through a full production process, from the initial idea and arrangement to recording, editing, mixing and mastering. We can also focus on specific areas such as sound design, audio post-production, vocal production, MIDI programming, effects, EQ, compression, automation, workflow, or preparing your music for release.

I like to combine clear explanations with practical exercises, so you can apply what you learn straight away. Instead of only explaining theory, I encourage students to work directly on real projects, either their own music or guided examples. This makes the lessons more creative, engaging and useful for real-life music production.

I have over 15 years of professional experience as a music producer, mixing engineer, audio engineer and tutor. I have taught music production, digital audio, sound design and post-production at university level and in private education settings. I am also a Steinberg Certified Trainer, with experience teaching Cubase and other professional audio tools such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton, Reaper and Wavelab.

My teaching style is supportive, structured and friendly. My aim is to help students build confidence, understand both the creative and technical sides of music production, and develop their own sound at their own pace.
