Welcome to my English Literature tutoring sessions, where innovation meets academic excellence. As a dedicated GCSE and A-Level English Literature tutor, my lessons are crafted to provide a dynamic and engaging learning experience.

The format of my lessons is designed to blend the traditional study of this subject with modern teaching methods. Each lesson focuses on a certain aspect of the course and includes activities designed to cultivate your child’s critical thinking skills. Towards exam season, there will also be classes focused on study skills and exam technique.

The content of my lessons spans a comprehensive understanding of the prescribed texts, literary theories, and historical contexts. I emphasise the development of essential skills, focusing on both course content and exam strategies. Through targeted exercises, students not only delve into the intricacies of classic and contemporary literature but also hone their analytical and writing abilities crucial for the GCSE and A-Level exams.

With a year of experience in student mentoring and English tutoring, I bring a love for literature and enthusiasm for success to every session. My goal is to inspire a love for the subject while equipping students with the tools they need to excel academically. Whether unraveling the many complexities of Shakespearean drama or navigating the nuances of contemporary poetry, my innovative approach ensures that learning is not only insightful but enjoyable, paving the way for academic success!
