I am a native English-speaking tutor based in Bedfordshire with a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Energy Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School. I have over a year of online tutoring experience, supporting students of different ages and academic levels during the Covid period, teaching a broad range of subjects.

My approach is structured yet engaging. I begin by understanding each student’s current level, strengths and areas for improvement, then create a clear and personalised plan to help them progress confidently. I place strong emphasis on building solid foundations, as this is the key to long-term academic success. For GCSE and A-level students, I focus heavily on exam technique, structured answers and effective revision strategies. For younger students, I make lessons interactive and enjoyable, using examples, discussion and problem-solving to keep them motivated and curious.

With a strong analytical and quantitative background, I am particularly skilled at explaining complex ideas in a clear and simple way. Whether it is maths, economics, essay writing or general homework support, I break topics down into manageable steps so students feel confident rather than overwhelmed.

Beyond academics, I believe rapport is essential. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independence. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to ignite genuine interest, build confidence and help students develop strong study habits that will benefit them long term.
